Toddlers & Tutus (Ages 3 & 4)

Let's introduce your little one to the magical world of ballet! Through imaginative play and creative movement, our experienced instructors will guide them in exploring basic ballet positions, coordination exercises, and musicality. This fun and interactive class will help develop your child's motor skills, rhythm, and self-expression in a nurturing and age-appropriate environment.

Pre-Ballet (Ages 4 & 5)

Pr-Primary

Your child will take their first steps toward becoming a young ballet dancer. Through a combination of playful exercises, storytelling, and introductory ballet techniques, our instructors will lay the foundation for proper posture, coordination, and ballet vocabulary. This class fosters creativity, confidence, and a love for dance, preparing your child for the next exciting stage of their ballet journey.

Primary Ballet (Ages 6 & 7)

Grade 1

Perfect for aspiring young dancers ready to dive deeper into the enchanting world of ballet. Building upon fundamental ballet techniques, this class focuses on developing strength, flexibility, & more intricate footwork. Students will learn ballet terminology, explore expressive movements, and experience the joy of performing simple choreography.  An engaging class encouraging artistic expression while nurturing discipline and dedication.

Pre-Elementary (Ages 8 +)​

By audition or placement only. Led by our resident ballerina, Miss April.  Previous experience is required. 

The Barre at CSS proudly instructs students through the esteemed Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) curriculum, renowned worldwide.  Under Miss April's expert guidance, you'll delve into advanced techniques, refine your artistry, and unlock new levels of performance. In addition, our students have the opportunity to take the RAD test, opening doors to potential college credit and further recognition of their achievement.
